We are a community of like-minded karate-ka
who empathise with each other, work together towards a common goal and all individuals are supported to be the best they can be.
Study traditional karate or
join us at our sport karate sessions.
You will be supported by the wider community and have regular opportunities to be taught by some well known karate instructors at seminars and squad sessions.
We don't teach for the income, we teach for the outcome. Sonchō Karate Club is a not-for-profit club where we invest back in the local community.
Where do we train?
We train in The Pavillion with heated wooden floor (we train barefoot).
Complete facilities available, changing rooms with showers, drinks & snacks available to purchase from the vending machines and a large free parking space.

Children can be dropped off and picked up.
We hold seminars, small friendly competitions and other events in the main sports hall.
We train in The Main Hall with sprung wooden floor (we train barefoot).
Parents are more than welcome to watch or have a break next door (in the same building) in a family friendly Cafe Bar. Large free parking available on the site.
However, parents don't have to stay while we train, you can just drop your children off and then pick them up at the end of training.
And if that is not enough, across the road you'll find a supermarket if you need to do the shopping :-)
